Melanie Moon joined JAX® Mice, Clinical and Research Services (JMCRS) in July 2024 as the Vice President of Global Commercial Operations. With almost two decades of experience in the life sciences industry, Melanie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to enhance JMCRS customer focus and accelerate business growth. Most recently, Melanie led the Spatial Business Unit at Nanostring Technologies. Prior to holding earlier sales and marketing leadership roles at Nanostring, Melanie drove incremental revenue with several life sciences tools companies including Affymetrix, Qiagen, and Thermo Fisher.
In addition to her commercial experience, she is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and was one of the original founders of Nanostring’s employee resource groups.
Melanie brings an impressive track record of leading global business, delivering product and process improvement/development, while also employing creative marketing for profitable growth. She holds a B.S. in molecular biology/biotechnology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
