Specializes in precision genome editing of human induced pluripotent stem cells, develops and optimizes stem cell models, and leads a service lab providing custom-engineered models for JAX researchers.
Justin has overseen activities in CE since 2017, initially serving as a staff scientist and then assuming the role of Associate Director in 2020. He ensures the efficient production of high-quality, genome-engineered human iPSCs for use in basic research. Justin also co-manages the NIH- and CZI-funded iPSC Neurodegenerative Disease Initiative (iNDI) project at JAX and plays a key role as personnel for the NIH-funded MorPhiC Data Production Center at JAX.
