I work in the Resource for Comparative Mendelian Disease Genomics where I look for phenotypes in the FVB/NJ colony and prepare pups for MicroCT. I test new deviants for heritability, collect tissues and summarize data. I maintain wild derived strains and officiate the JAX deviant search program with Marcia King.
I have worked with the Mouse Mutant Resource mapping new mutations for many years and now work with the Resource for Comparative Mendelian Disease Genomics identifying FVB/NJ mice with abnormal phenotypes. Over the years I have maintained and characterized strains of mutant mice and wild derived strains. I am a member of the JAX Animal Care and Use Committee and the JAX Employee Crisis Fund.
